New Nickel Enters Circulation
Given the name of this site, I thought it was especially appropriate to point out this bit of news… A new nickel, featuring a frontal portrait of Thomas Jefferson, enters circulation today. This nickel is the final in the ‘Westward Journey’ series, which commemorates the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Here’s a picture in case you’re curious:
