New Nickel Enters Circulation

Given the name of this site, I thought it was especially appropriate to point out this bit of news… A new nickel, featuring a frontal portrait of Thomas Jefferson, enters circulation today. This nickel is the final in the ‘Westward Journey’ series, which commemorates the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Here’s a picture in case you’re curious:

Since he has no logo, wouldn’t it “time for a logo?” instead?

You should replace Jefferson with an embossed version of your own face… that’d be awesome.

I don’t know about that face replacement idea — it may make us all a bit queezy.
