Dreamhost Ups the Ante

If you’ve been a regular reader of this site, then you probably know that I have a thing for Dreamhost… That’s where I host this site (as well as several others) using their Crazy Domain Insane plan. I’ve been using them since last fall, and I couldn’t be happier. About a month ago, I noticed that they started automatically upping your storage space and bandwidth on a weekly basis. And just recently, I noticed that they’ve quadrupled their base level of storage, and octupled the monthly bandwidth. That means that for as little as $7.95/month, you get 20 GB of storage (which increases by 160 MB/week) and 1 TB of bandwidth each month (which increases by 8 GB/week). As I’ve noted previously, they also offer WebDAV (the ability to treat directories on your webspace as networked hard drives), which means that you can easily use your ever-increasing space for offsite file storage. And on top of everything else, they offer a 97 day money back guarantee. If you’re interested in trying them out, be sure to use the discount codeSAVE77” to get $77 off your first year.
