Father’s Day Spending

Happy Father’s Day one and all… Did you know that, according to the National Retail Federation, the average person is going to spend $88.80 on Father’s Day gifts this year? And that the estimated total expenditure will be on the order of $9 billion? Sounds great if you’re a dad, but keep in mind that the average person spend $122.16 on Mother’s Day gifts earlier this year. To be honest, I’m happy to trade down in terms of gifts so long as I can avoid pregnancy and childbirth!
