One Year Ago This Week (July 30th – August 5th)
Here’s a quick look at some of my favorite posts from a year ago this week:
• Sales Tax Holidays Reconsidered – A contrarian look at the whether or not state sales tax holidays, which typically happen around this time of year, are actually a good deal for the consumer.
• Identity Theft After Death – A reminder that the threat of identity theft doesn’t end when you die (although you’re less likely to care about it at that point).
• Random Grammatical Rant – This one is just me getting on my high horse about the low quality of most online writing.
• Insulate Your Garage Door – A brief description of how I insulated the garage door at our old house and made the temperature in the room above it far more comfortable.
