Migration Complete, We Have Lift Off

If you’re reading this message, then it means that you’re now accessing FiveCentNickel from the new server. During the move I also took the opportunity to upgrade to the newest version of WordPress (the software that runs this site). While I’ve tested things fairly thoroughly and hope that I have the bugs worked out, it’s always possible (likely?) that something’s amiss.

If you notice any problems, please leave a comment at the end of this post, drop me a line via my contact form, or shoot me an e-mail (use ‘nickel‘ at this domain for the address).

Please also feel free to leave a comment letting me know that you’re able to see the site.

Update: I had some database problems, so comments left between Saturday-Sunday evening were lost. But, as of right now, all’s well.

Did you change hosting providors, or just servers within the same host? Who are you with these days?

I changed providers entirely. I moved from a shared server on Dreamhost to a dedicated server on National Net.

mh1: Yep, I’m aware of that and trying to fix it. So far the only real fix has been to remove that feed.

It’s intermittent, which makes it doubly difficult.
