Sprint SERO Update: My Treo 755p Arrived
Just a quick note to say that I received my Treo 755p yesterday, just one day after I got Sprint PCS to manually add the new SERO line to my account. Given how long I spent on the phone with them, I was somewhat surprised that they’d be able to do anything this quickly.
I honestly haven’t had time to do much beyond powering it on. I did, however, use it to help the boys answer a couple of homework questions that they were supposed to look up on the internet. I then mapped our house using Google maps and also sent a quick e-mail. Oh, and I also made a quick phone call (to my son, who had my old cell phone)…
All in all, it’s a pretty cool little device. I’ll probably put together a more thorough review after I’ve had a chance to spend more time with it. My next job is to call Sprint and secure a phone number that’s actually in our area code — as I noted the other day, they assigned me a number from two states ago (which is where we were when we first signed up with Sprint PCS).

Yeap, it works. I recieved my in less than 24hrs and I absolutely love it.
I do however have problems w/calibrating the touch screen. I’ve seen a few blogs on how to fix that problem, I’ll keep you posted on how that works out.
Thanks so much for posting that info, I had been searching for something like this (that wasn’t going to cost me $100.00 per month).
