I can’t say for sure, but it’s very likely that you would qualify since it’s a new account.

I currently have a discover card which I cancelled today. I hadn’t used it in some time. If I open a new account with this offer am I likely to be eligible for the new offer. I recently opened one of their business accounts, too.

Discover must be really struggling as they are doing EVERYTHING to get people to put money on their cards. I will have to research this much more.

I recieved an add in the Sunday paper for this same card but it was with a $100 cash back after $500 in purchases. I don’t have the code with me, but I’ll try to post it back here on Monday if I can find it.

You’ve got a typo in the article. It’s actually, “Earn a $50 Cashback Bonus when you make $500 in purchases within 3 months after your account is opened. “
