TurboTax Giveaway – Three More Copies!
With just under a month to go until Tax Day, I’m pleased to report that I have three more copies of TurboTax Premier to give away. To be perfectly accurate, the winners won’t receive a physical product. Rather, they’ll receive a prepaid access code good for one free federal return + one free state return + free e-filing.
For those of you that are impatient, you can actually start your return for free this weekend using TurboTax online, and then simply enter the code when it comes time to file/pay.
As before, I’m offering multiple ways to win. While you can only win one copy, you’re welcome to try for all three. Read on for details…
Win by Commenting
For the first copy, simply leave a comment below telling me a bit about yourself (where you live, what you do for a living, or whatever else you feel like sharing) and/or how you found this site. On Monday evening, I’ll randomly pick a winner from all commenters. Only one comment per person, please.
Win by Tweeting
For the second copy, you’ll need to create a Twitter account (unless you already have one), follow me (@fcn; unless you’re already following me), and then Tweet the following message (you can just copy/paste it):
Win one of three copies of TurboTax Premier – Follow @fcn and re-tweet – Details: http://is.gd/o7xR – #fcntax
Be sure to include the ‘#fcntax’ tag at the end so I can easily find your entry. On Monday evening, I’ll randomly pick a winner from everyone who enters via Twitter.
Win by Subscribing
The last copy is reserved for RSS and/or e-mail subscribers. For the duration of the contest, I’ll be including a “secret” e-mail address at the end of each article in my RSS feed. Simply subscribe (if you haven’t done so already) and keep an eye out for the secret address. Once you have it, just shoot me a quick e-mail (just one) at that address. On Monday evening, I’ll randomly select a winner from amongst the messages I receive at that address.
The Fine Print
Entries will be accepted through 9PM Eastern on Monday, March 23rd. I will contact the winners via e-mail and/or Twitter, so please be on the lookout, and please be sure to use a valid e-mail address. Note that the winners will receive their prize directly from the PR firm that handles TurboTax, so you’ll have to provide me with a U.S. mailing address (no PO boxes, please) that I can pass along to them. Void where prohibited. Good luck!

I live in GA, I’m in advertising sales, I found this site through contest alert and I used Turbo Tax for the first time (and loved it!) last year after suffering an audit for two years–and we used an alleged former IRS employee on those two years! We’re pissed. Lesson learned. Now, we’re doing our taxes ourselves–figure we dont’ need help F***in ‘em up! So, I would really appreciate the giveaway.

I am a married mother of 6 children. Only 2 are still in the home, 17 and 14. I have worked outside the home since I was 16. I have dreamed of working from home, but it hasn’t panned out yet. My father was military, so I moved around a lot. I am an administrative assistant for a pressure washer/waste oil furnace/parts washer company that also builds car washes. We have a total of 20 employees.
Thanks.

I live in MA. I don’t know how I found you originally. I used to read your blog periodically when I was reading a lot of finance blogs. Then I stopped for a while, and now I am just starting to get back into serious blog-reading as I start blogging myself.

I just got home from my accountant where I found out that my wife and I owe more taxes than we ever thought possible. All year long we knew we would owe something but not this much! We would love to run the numbers ourselves using tax preparation software but I don’t have the heart to spend any money.

I used your software last year which was introduced to me from my son-in-law. I was pleased with how much information the software provided and how easy it was to prepare my taxes. I am a school bus driver and my husband is a maintainance worker. Last year, 2009, was a very hard year financially because I had to undergo a major surgery. I was off work for six weeks and with all the physicians bills that follow was very stressful. I would love to get a break from paying out and receive something free.

I’m a Technical Writer who lives in Atlanta, GA. I was doing a search for a coupon for Turbo Tax because I hadn’t found a deal on it this year. I would like to use it again since I have used it for the last two year.
