For example one place i went to find a cache at was a natural spring that was hidden in a neighborhood a mile or so from my house. Beautiful secluded area with a bubbling spring. Awesome! Started about six years ago because it was a very inexpensive way to get out and do something for the whole family. For the cost of an ink pad, a stamp and a notebook (all bought from the dollar bin at the craft store) we had the makings of a fun afternoon out. Just get our clues from letterboxing.org & off we would go. We haven't gone out in quite some time either. Have to round up the teens & DH and get outdoors this weekend. It's supposed to be in the low 80s (finally, some warmer weather). We go letterboxing, which is similar.
