I am getting 10 times more than my bank savings account at 11.01%. No loans have gone bad yet and I am reinvesting the pri and int earned. Yes, it is a risk, but with inflation (see shadow stats website for real inflation numbers) being what it is one is losing purchasing power putting money in a bank account.

You can’t ask for a guarantee….it’s investing.

The best you can do is hand pick loans you feel safe using all of the information available (credit, employment, etc). So far I’ve had success and I believe in it. Of course higher returns come with higher risk. That goes without saying right?

I am unable to be convinced that the risk is worth it. Other bloggers are talking of their money-losing experiences. Is there a Safe and guaranteed way of doing this?. How does it work?

I just hate that I can’t use lending tree or prosper in Maryland. I’d lovee to try these services out.
