Just a quick note to say that Dreamy1’s prize has arrived… She won the 5GB Microdrive. Unfortunately, she recently dropped (and broke!) her camera, so she couldn’t post a picture. As an aside, she’s also getting the shaft on her extended warranty coverage from Bank of America/Visa. Anyway, I encourage you to stop by, check out her site, and congratulate her.
Another Giveaway Winner: The 5GB Microdrive
The Bricks Have Arrived
In case you haven’t heard, CleverDude was the lucky winner of my box’o'bricks. Being a good sport, he even posted a picture. Credit for the enclosed note goes to my lovely and talented wife, although he did decide to censor it. For the full message, take a look at this picture, which I snapped before shipping the prizes out to the winners.
Interestingly, Mr. Clever went to Home Depot just one day earlier and bought himself eight bricks for use around the house — if only he had waited, he could’ve saved a few bucks! Looking on the bright side, he and CleverDudette (a.k.a., Stacie of BuildingNutrition.com) now have a few spares for future brick emergencies.
Anniversary Giveaway Prizes On Their Way
Just a quick note to say that I’m (finally) mailing the anniversary giveaway prizes today. In the interim, I thought y’all might enjoy seeing a picture of the prizes. To the winners: You won’t know what you’ve won until the package shows up on your doorstep. Again, I encourage you to take a picture of your own when you get your prize and post it online — I’ll happily throw a link your way if you do. Anyway, congratulations again to the winners, and thank you to everyone else for your support! As NCN would say, you guys rock. Oh, and thanks to Henry of BinaryDollar for serving as my inspiration on the box of bricks idea.
Update: Sadly, I was only able to fit five bricks in the box. However, it still weighed in at 19 pounds, 11.4 ounces! Given that I used a prepaid box, I was able to ship them out for $8.95 — otherwise, it would have cost over seventeen bucks.

Anniversary Giveaway Winners
Well, the big giveaway is now a thing of the past, and I’ve selected the winners. Here they are, presented in alphabetical order…
Allen
CleverDude
Dreamy1
MoneyWalks
quartersaver
tmg
Note that I’m still not ready to announce who won what, as I’d like to stretch out the suspense a bit… Especially for the “lucky” winner of the bricks…
Stay tuned, though. I’ll be announcing who got each prize sometime soon. And remember, if you’re one of the winners and you happen to have a website of your own, I’ll happily link back to you if you post a picture of your prize after you receive it.
