Weekly Roundup – New Voices Edition

Over the next week or two, you’ll be hearing from more than just me. We’re heading out of town for a weeklong vacation, so I’ve lined up a number of articles from guest contributors to help fill the void. On top of that, I’ve decided to bring on an additional author whose first article will be appearing on Wednesday morning.

Depending on how things go, I’m actually hoping to expand things even further. This isn’t to say that I’ll be stepping away from the keyboard. Rather, I’m doing this in hopes of providing you with even more great content while simultaneously adding some unique viewpoints. And with that…

Here are eight recent articles that caught my eye.

MoneySmartLife has some tips for finding a freelance job.

Flexo wonders if buy-and-hold is still a good strategy.

MillionDollarJourney talked about paying the bills with coupled finances.

WiseBread listed 101 tax deductions for bloggers and freelancers.

Ron talked about the upside of a bad economy.

David listed some geeky tools for saving money.

ToughMoneyLove talked about being your own financial planner.

Finally, if you’re digging yourself out of debt, be sure to check out the No Credit Needed Notebook, which is a free offering from my pal NCN.

Thanks for Ron’s article – it offers some good ways to take advantage of price negotiation among other things in this contracting economy.
